Harding
Harding is self contained apartment designed for 2 adults and 2 children. The bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed. There is also a bathroom and a separate living space offering sofas, a Smart TV, and a kitchenette.
Attached to the famous Crumplehorn Inn and Mill in the historic fishing village of Polperro, Harding takes its name from Lewis Harding, a 19th-century photographer who lived and worked right here in Polperro. His photographs of the village's fishermen and residents remain some of the earliest images of Polperro life, and are held today at the Polperro Heritage Museum. Naming this room Harding is our nod to a figure who helped capture this village's story for future generations.

Here's twenty thousand Cornish men will know the reason why!" Trelawny was born at Trelawne, in the parish of Pelynt, just a few miles from Polperro itself.

Du Maurier
Du Maurier has a double bed, a spacious separate living room, a small kitchen area, and its own bathroom.
Du Maurier is unique in that it is sat directly above the bar in the original 18th Century farmhouse. Legend suggests the room is haunted. Over the years, guests have reported doors opening and closing on their own and unexplained noises during their stay. We can't say for certain what's behind it, but there's no denying this room has a story of its own, fitting for the oldest corner of the 18th Century mill house.
Attached to the famous Crumplehorn Inn and Mill in the historic fishing village of Polperro, Du Maurier is named after Daphne Du Maurier, the celebrated novelist who made Cornwall the setting for so much of her writing. She lived in nearby Fowey for much of her life, and her novel Jamaica Inn, inspired by a real Cornish smugglers' pub on Bodmin Moor, remains one of the reasons old Cornish inns are so often linked with ghost stories to this day. Naming our most atmospheric room after her felt like the only fitting choice.
